Getting to the Conference Venues

Friday night & Saturday night’s Benchley Awards dinner will be held at Carnegie Institute, 1530 P Street, NW, Washington, DC 20005. The closest metro stop is Dupont Circle (on the red line). (Visit the Carnegie Institute’s website for detailed directions.)

Saturday & Sunday’s day-time events will be held in George Washington University’s Marvin Center, 800 21st Street, N.W., Washington, DC 20052. Our conference rooms are located on the 3rd floor, within the Cafritz Conference Center. The closest metro stop is Foggy Bottom (on the orange and blue lines). (Visit the Marvin Center’s website for more detailed directions.) Please note: Parking is available in the University garage located at 22nd and I & H Streets.

Getting to Washington, D.C.

By rail
The closest train terminal, is Union Station (Amtrak code: WAS). Regular train service operates for a variety of East Coast destinations.

By road

By air
The closest airport is Reagan National (DCA). Also convenient are Dulles International (IAD) and Baltimore-Washington (BWI).

Getting around Washington, D.C.
Washington, D.C. has a metro and bus system that can get you to the various venues. Visit the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority site to plan your trip. The closest metro stop to the Carnegie Institute of Washington is Dupont Circle on the Red line and the closest metro stop to the George Washington University’s Marvin Center is Foggy Bottom – GWU on the Blue and Orange lines.
